SACRB bearings are rolling bearings with the highest static load capacity and free angle adjustability. The name of this bearing describes its function, and it is an adjustable roller bearing. This type of bearing consists of an inner ring, a rolling element set (usually full or with a cage), a spherical outer ring, and an adjustment ring (spherical mask) spherical mask.
The spherical outer ring is located in the dome and compensates for the misalignment of the housing. As a result, the angle adjustment motion does not occur in rolling contact. The load-bearing capacity of the roller bearings is fully preserved in every position. The floating bearing variant has a smooth/straight inner ring on which the rolling elements can be moved slightly axially
Due to the principle of angle adjustment described above, unconstrained axial displacements can also occur in the inclined state, e.g. due to thermal expansion. The fixed bearing has either a fixed flange and a side pressure ring on the inner ring, or a smooth/ribless inner ring and two side pressure rings, through which the axial force can then be transmitted.
